Weaving anti-racist networks: Dialogues between Africas, Brazil and Portugal
Weaving anti-racist networks: Dialogues between Africas, Brazil and Portugal
Descrição
Following the proposal of the 1st International Seminar Weaving Anti-Racist Networks: Africa(s), Brazil, Portugal, this book brings a series of texts that seek to produce reflections on racism experienced in Portuguese-speaking countries on the African, South American and European continents. These reflections are positioned as tools for confronting the persistent phenomenon of racism which, far from being just a structuring element of the experiences of Modernity, has intensified in recent years and shown that it is not just a fact of the colonial past. The diversity arising from the three continents makes this book a unique tool, necessary for a comparative, transnational and transcontinental look at the different experiences with and against racism, the backbone of the modern world.
