Tarot of the Guardians - by Karol Souza Barbosa

The "Guardians' Tarot" is the result of in-depth studies and seeks to demystify the irradiation of Exus and Pombogiras within the Umbanda religion. Its reading is based on the performance (point of strength), classification (phalanx) and hierarchy (irradiation of the Orixá) of these Agents of Light in communion with ancient priestly knowledge symbolically described by the 56 Minor Arcana, so that through them, we can obtain more knowledge about our earthly journey. The Guardians, associated with the Minor Arcana, refer to an inner reconciliation, to break down prejudices and demonstrate that the left line has specific and vital functions within ritualistics. Each element within Umbanda has a solid and constructive foundation for the practice of good, charity and spiritual rescue, and it would be no different with the so-called Left Line (in no pejorative sense, it is the complementary opposite of the Right Line - Orixás and Guides Spiritual, and with it maintains the balance between human, astral and spiritual, with equal importance in performance. This tarot was developed with care and seriousness and does not detract from other decks/tarots known in the oracular world, but exposes the wealth of divinatory methods.
