Probability, Random Variables and Stochastic Processes - by José Paulo de Almeida Albuquerque

This text was designed with the aim of introducing students to some aspects of probability theory, random variables and stochastic processes and the most used results of these theories in solving practical problems of a random nature, found in the various branches of engineering. The text is also aimed at students and engineers who intend to carry out advanced studies in stochastic processes. This is a fundamental subject for the training of students who will become involved in research.
