Descrição
Guanabara Tupinambá and its ancestral villages, the history of the first Carioca and the explorers, conquerors and pioneering residents, the dispute between the Portuguese and French, the war against the natives and the battles that marked the founding of Rio de Janeiro. A critical success, published for the first time in December 2015, in the calendar celebrating the 450th anniversary of Rio de Janeiro, "O Rio Antes do Rio" had three editions in just over a year. Now it has a new graphic project with revised and expanded content, launched by Relicário. With vast iconography ― including maps and illustrations of indigenous rituals, characters of the time and animals that gave names to the main tribes, which became the city's neighborhoods ―, the work is divided into four chapters that form part of the stages of the Tupinambá saga to the battle of Uruçumirim, until the year 1567.
