The Book of Enoch - by Enoch

One of the most fascinating apocryphal books is undoubtedly the book of I Enoch (or Ethiopian Enoch), generally dated to the second century BC. This book was originally written in Aramaic, but the only version available today is in Ethiopic. Written in apocalyptic language, between 170 and 64 BC, the book bears some similarities to the Apocalypse of John, whose composition took place more than two centuries later
