My Old Foot of Umbu - by Mariza Jambeiro

There in the wilderness were my answers. Excited, I undertook a trip with the purpose of seeking all the information I needed to write my life path so far. My expectations were high, full of uncertainties. I only had a memory of a beautiful umbuzeiro tree at the door of our house, which carried a lot and how sweet its fruits were! It was very leafy, we stayed under its canopy, playing lots of games. My father also used the umbuzeiro to work, in its shade, making some carpentry work.
