In Memórias she does not hide: she talks about her childhood – and the terrible abuse she suffered –, famous relationships (such as Pelé and Ayrton Senna), the explosion on Globo with Xou da Xuxa, the controversies, in addition to her activism for the animal cause and for children's rights, the birth of Sasha, until today. With great honesty, Xuxa says that not everything is glamorous in the life of a star of her magnitude: she talks about losses and the hard work to get where she is. Memórias features more than 100 photos selected by Xuxa, many of them unpublished and from her personal collection and text written by the queen of rock Rita Lee. The cover was also designed by the presenter, who will donate royalties to Aldeia Nissi, in Angola, and for sanctuaries for animals rescued from abuse in Brazil.
