Marapuama, also known as muirapuama, muiratã and “Viagra da Amazônia”, for example, is a plant native to the Amazon rainforest, widely used by the native Indians of Brazil. This plant, scientifically named Ptychopetalum uncinatum, has many acids, such as lignoceric, campesterol, behenic and arachidic.
