Mechanical Vibrations fills a gap in the didactic literature related to this topic that is so important in the training of engineers, as well as professionals in other areas of exact sciences. Inserted in the context of dynamics, the study of mechanical vibrations is relevant not only from the point of view of practical applications, but also for the general training of students − including the association with differential equations, presented here in a clear and comprehensive way. The content of this work ranges from basic topics to more advanced ones, with a modern approach, respecting a rigorous mathematical formalism, which expresses the academic and professional experience of its authors.
