A work addressed to those already versed in conventional ultrasound and, living up to the title? Commented Atlas?, seeks to be generous in the iconography and economical in the text. For this type of reader, 3D sonographic images speak for themselves, rarely requiring extensive additional explanations. The book summarizes the experience of Ultra-Sonografia Botafogo, RJ, as a 3D U/S. With the exception of Chapter 6, Three-Dimensional Ultrasound of the Breast, written by CF Weismann, from Salzburg, Austria, all other Chapters display images from the authors' collection, expressing their opinion on the topic.
