Collection of books of poems by a monumental writer, winner of the Camões prize. All poetry brings together the ten books of poems by Ferreira Gullar, published over almost sixty years — from A Luta Corpo, from 1954, to In Some Part No, from 2010 —, based on the edition revised by the poet himself. In the afterword written especially for this volume, Antonio Cicero highlights the vast dimension of the author's production of Poem Dirty, which includes “not only beauty, but contingency, precariousness, banality, ugliness, death itself, which are an essential part of this experience.” With his passionate, questioning and combative work, Gullar established himself as an unavoidable name in Portuguese language poetry and in the debate on literature, arts and culture in the country.
