Book, Basic texts of philosophy: from the pre-Socratics to Wittgenste[LS]
Descrição
This anthology of texts by great thinkers aims to put the student in direct contact with the sources of Western philosophy. Instead of the student "hearing about" or "reading about" the Allegory of the Cave, for example, they will have the opportunity to learn about Plato's original text. Professor Danilo Marcondes, with more than fifteen years of teaching experience, selected passages where some of the key texts and central arguments of the philosophical tradition are found. For didactic purposes, the volume includes short introductions to philosophers and each of their texts, as well as a series of questions and themes for discussion in the classroom or in study groups. Now teachers and students already have a complete apparatus for teaching and studying: Initiation to the history of philosophy, widely adopted and successively republished, and Basic texts of philosophy form a set, the first guiding the reader in the paths of philosophy, the other bringing the sources of western philosophy.
