“About being sick” updates our notion of subjective precariousness in dealing with illnesses (nothing more current than that) and shows how literature has left this gap over time, perhaps for this very reason, making it difficult for us to develop a capacity linguistic and bodily skills to deal with, endure and overcome illnesses in general.
