Book, Modern Control Systems 13/18[LS]
Descrição
Modern Control Systems, in its thirteenth edition, offers advanced content relating to the design and analysis of control systems in the most different areas. The work presents the structure of feedback control theory, supported by real problems. This methodology combines mathematical foundations, modeling of physical systems and design of practical control systems, resulting in consistent and challenging content for undergraduate and postgraduate Engineering students. The book discusses models in state variables, root locus, stability in the frequency domain, robust control systems and digital control, among others. Key engineering examples are also demonstrated, such as monitoring wind turbines and modeling a photovoltaic generator for feedback control. This edition incorporates the following updates: more than 20% of issues have been revised or are new; almost a thousand exercises are presented, divided into simple and advanced, design and computational problems; and the phase lead and lag compensator design procedure in Chapter 10 has been revised to clarify the content as well as much of the text. There are also several supplementary materials available for teachers and students in GEN-IO, GEN | National Editorial Group, upon registration. Among such materials are the appendices, which provide theoretical support, with complementary texts to the main subject.
