This book aims to improve the preparation and training of nurses in the domain and skills to perform physical examinations. The authors were concerned with improving semiology as an element that gives nursing actions a more human and reliable view of the problems identified when approaching patients. In this sense, the authors present basic instructions on diagnostic techniques, offer considerations on modern issues, present an updated view on laboratory and imaging tests and show the importance of natural history as a basis for diagnostic formulation.
