Book, Romanticism and messianism[LS]

Language: Brazilian Portuguese. Is romanticism a conservative and reactionary movement? Or will it also contain revolutionary potential due to its opposition to capitalism and bourgeois society? These questions, and even more so the relationship between Marxism and the romantic movement, constitute the fulcrum of analysis of the various studies brought together here under the title of 'Romanticism and Messianism'. In this book, the author also focuses, in the discussion of his theme, on the works not only of Lukács and Benjamin - two thinkers who have significant links with the romantic tradition - but also those of Bloch, Gramsci and Goldman.
