Descrição
Manuel Atienza, Professor of Law, is a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Alicante; at Pompeu Fa UniversityThe topic covered in this book, legal argumentation, has interested me for a long time and for several reasons. The most important thing is that I do not conceive – and therefore would not put into practice – the philosophy of Law as a discipline closed in itself and created not only by, but also for, philosophers of Law. In my opinion, the philosophy of Law must fulfill an intermediary function between legal knowledge and practices, on the one hand, and the rest of social practices and knowledge, on the other. This also means that the recipients of texts on the philosophy of Law should not only be other philosophers of Law, but also – and even fundamentally – those cultivating other disciplines, legal or otherwise, as well as jurists with practical experience and Law students. .bra, Barcelona; Center for Constitutional Studies, Madrid and Instituto Tecnológico de México.
