Book, Chemistry Principles and Reactions 6/10[LS]
Descrição
A lean work, straight to the point: this was the authors' objective when reformulating the previous edition of this book, which presents Chemistry explained in a clear, objective and comprehensive way. Chemistry – Principles and Reactions, the revised and updated sixth edition has already established itself as a mandatory work in the bibliography of the best courses, as it deals with general concepts in a concise way, without sacrificing depth, rigor or clarity. The examples were improved, with almost 30% undergoing a thorough review with the aim of increasing their rigor and deepening the conceptual understanding of the principles. New questions and more end-of-chapter problems have been added – an increase of almost 200 items. One of the concerns was to improve static art with balloon captions, where the explanations previously presented in the narrative or in text figure captions appear in the art itself; photographs and molecular models were improved and modernized; The authors revised the style of presenting graphs to make them more enlightening. In addition to being completely reformulated, as a new feature, this book brings the testimony of scientists and researchers, speaking about their research and, thus, showing the student another perspective on each subject – different points of view from those of the authors of Chemistry – Principles and reactions.
