Descrição
The Processes of Creation in Scripture, Art and Psychoanalysis', by Philippe Willemart, which the publisher Perspectiva publishes in the Studies collection, follows on from his book on Genetic Criticism and Psychoanalysis, which came to light in the same collection, in 2005. In this new work, the theorist and critic from the University of São Paulo launches into an investigation of the paths that the writing of literary art takes, to give shape to its creations. His thinking revolves around the fact that 'the literary manuscript reveals the materials that surround great writers - tradition, school, their time, prejudices, nonsense and human mediocrity - and their constant struggle to announce something of value. unprecedented, which will make writing the spokesperson for a world beyond the contemporary from which it emerges'. This vision leads him to conclude that 'the writer must lose himself in writing, lose his identity, the one he believes he has and the one sent back to him by his neighbors, to reconstitute another, the author's identity through drafts [...] . With each erasure, the question arises again; with each erasure resolved, the author emerges. There is, therefore, a progressive construction of authorial identity.' In this trajectory, which the reader is obliged to follow, he will have the opportunity to familiarize himself with the main problems of the processes of constitution of the creative act, diving into its interstices, like a traveler guided by headlights in the middle of a stormy night.
