Book, Principles of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Building 1/18[LS]
Descrição
Principles of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning in Buildings is a work developed to meet the training and specialization needs of future professionals in this segment, known by the acronym HVAC. The diversity of applications in the area is great and ranges from equipment manufacturers, through companies that implement and manage these systems, to research institutions in the area. The methodology used begins by studying the performance of HVAC systems according to thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and the principles of heat transfer. This knowledge allows students to develop the ability to analyze the processes and devices of these systems, aiming to monitor performance, costs and efficiency. The different processes involved are presented and then the optimization tools are introduced. We seek to emphasize the importance of knowing the purpose of the software used and the ability to interpret the results of the analyzes carried out. The examples and problems address everyday professional life, based on real situations, whose objective is to apply theory and encourage creativity in finding solutions. The EES (Engineering Equation Solver) software was used for the nonlinear equations. There is also supplementary material consisting of extra chapters, available on GEN-IO, GEN | National Editorial Group, upon registration.
