This book presents concepts, models and ways of applying strategic organizational planning projects, planning information systems, knowledge systems and information technology or information technology in private and public organizations. To contribute to organizational intelligence, the work presents models of integration and alignment of organizations' strategic planning with information technology planning through methodologies for preparing these plans. Its main objective is to describe parts, phases, subphases and products of the methodology for developing the planning of information systems, knowledge and computing or information technology in organizations, objectively detailing the modern vision and the appropriate application of a practical planning guide information technology integrated with organizational objectives, strategies and actions to effectively contribute to organizations' CIOs (Chief Information Officer) and CEOs (Chief Executive Officer). Although much of the author's experiences since 1980 are transcribed in this work, in academic research, in classrooms and in recent consultancy projects in organizations from different segments, specifically this book was written and practiced over the last few years. The fifth edition was prepared based on an extensive review of the text, strengthened by suggestions from the organizations that developed the project proposed here and by the numerous contributions from readers and teachers who adopted the methodology described in this work. The chapter Information Technology and Strategic Digital City Planning has been added.
