Book, Peter Handke: spoken plays[LS]
Descrição
Language: Brazilian Portuguese. The troubled years of the 1960s were characterized by a challenge to the most ingrained principles and values of the Western tradition. In its wake, an effective revolution, not only behavioral but also social, spread throughout its scope, with young people as its promoter and main agent. Youth refused to accept the values and rules received and imposed on them. What to say, how to act, where to go, became the object of his confrontation with the status quo, which was visibly translated both in cultural and intellectual procedures, as well as in the challenging forms of his 'dress and hair' rock and in the boldness of their oral language. Such is the context in which they occurred, and in which they were expressed - the first theatrical texts by writer, screenwriter and director Peter Handke. The 'Sprechtucke', 'Spoken Plays', as he called them, speak for themselves of this scenic testimony.
