Not many Brazilian studies attempt to systematically monitor the formation and evolution of psychological thought. This is what Anatol Rosenfeld does in this excellent work that gives the interested reader a synthetic view of the route taken from its beginnings in Greece to the modern currents of gestalt and psychoanalysis, as well as social and cultural psychology. Reading it will certainly be enlightening and enriching for both the general and specialized audiences.
