Descrição
Language: Brazilian Portuguese. What is left for us to think about another day or another day, which we hope will be different from today and yesterday? In Another Day: Interventions, Interviews, Other Times, which the publisher Perspectiva brings to the Portuguese-speaking public through the Studies collection, by making retail balances and detailed inventories, from here and elsewhere or from Europe, France and Bahia, as they say, Ruy Fausto follows Merleau-Ponty's critical maxim enunciated against the 'politics' of philosophers, in fact, a mystification of politics: the false impression of relevance given by every theory that, while claiming to be exhaustive, does not exhaust reality, but escapes her. Thinking about a left beyond the mistakes and dead ends of the 20th century means thinking above all about the details, and recovering, as the author says, a critical function of understanding in the face of the fetishism of criticism. Which means that there is in no way any restriction on political thought, as long as it remains thought about politics and not a politics of thought. It is well known in whose favor the fetishism of criticism works: in favor of anti-thought, dogmatism and school. Another Day for the left is also this: thinking against criticism and against the current, thinking against the grain is, in all forms and rigorously, thinking. Here's the proposal for another day.
