Language: Brazilian Portuguese. The Nuer, by EE Evans-Pritchard, have occupied a central place in the socio-anthropological studies of our time since their appearance. In Brazil, the translation by Editora Perspectiva of this masterpiece of 'scientific interpretation', as considered by international critics, gave courses and scholars in this field a most valuable instrument for research and knowledge, which made it almost mandatory to present reissue.
