Book, Neoliberalism as Management of Psychological Suffering[LS]

Language: Brazilian Portuguese. Based on a set of malaise management practices – for example, the individualization of guilt, the repudiation of depressive failure, the manic praise of merit and the creation of a state of crises and reformulations, as well as anomie and permanent changes –, neoliberalism manages to extract more productivity from people. In this book, the reader will be able to follow how the neoliberal mode of production constructed a new form of suffering that has become embedded in our lives in the form of an indisputable morality. It works as an antidote and response to management and motivation manuals, success and coaching narratives, as well as discourses that produce subjects structured like a company.
