Book, Books for everyone: essays on building a country readers[LS]

Reading is such an important right that it is equal to the most basic needs of human beings — therefore, it must be guaranteed to individuals of all ages, races, creeds, sexual orientations and social classes. Today, however, Brazil is fighting a war against books. The tax reform, which aims to tax its production and sale, could make the final product more expensive and limit its access. In "Books for All", publishing market professionals and literary lovers came together to reflect on this setback and show that a country cannot be created without publishers, bookstores and readers.
