First released in 1974, this book introduces a new phase for the writer: it is the first volume of poetry after her debut in fiction. Author of an extensive production of poetry, which began with Presságio, in 1950, Hilda in the following decade began to dedicate herself to other literary genres. In the late 1960s, in just three years she produced eight plays. Soon after, two fiction books would come: Fluxo-phloema, from 1970, and Qadós, from 1973.
