Book, Norman Invasions, As: a catastrophe?[LS]

The Norman invasions constitute a fascinating chapter in European history. They were recorded or recorded in the chronicle as having been a succession of catastrophes that, from the 9th century onwards, would have fallen on France, in particular, and left a trail of fire and blood there. Its reality, filtered from the stereotypes of ancient stories and legends, is what Albert D'Haenens intends to outline in the present study that Editora Perspectiva is launching in the Khronos collection. In a violent time like ours serving as a horizon, the reader will have in this work, not only a valuable instrument to expand their knowledge on the topics studied here, but will also be able to deepen their analysis of the paths of human adventure and its expressions in history, to meditate on the confrontation of these two strange worlds that, unable to understand each other at that time, made violence their way of relating.
