Book, Introduction to Invertebrates, A 2/11[LS]
Descrição
An Introduction to Invertebrates is an introductory guide to the evolution of invertebrates, aimed at university students and others. It is designed to be read as a whole and provide guidance to those studying invertebrates. The book maintains the structure of the first edition, with a chapter devoted entirely to each genre. This second edition became necessary because, in the last six years, there has been a wave of information originating from molecular methods for the investigation of phylogeny. Knowledge about genes and the genetic control of development has offered us very interesting new tools for evaluating relationships between genders, and new fossil finds have also contributed. The final chapter explains and discusses the current understanding of invertebrate relationships. And finally, its main objective is to discern and communicate general patterns, since the human mind cannot understand scattered and unrelated facts.
