Language: Brazilian Portuguese. This volume of the Cadernos da Diversidade Series deals with the topic of homotransphobia and sexual rights in Brazil. In the first part of the book, organized by professor Alexandre Bahia, different contributions are presented to the debate on unconstitutional omission and the role of the Federal Supreme Court in the Direct Action of Unconstitutionality by Omission (ADO) n. 26, regarding the processing of the bill for the classification and criminalization of homophobic and transphobic conduct. The second part brings the important contribution of federal judge Roger Raupp Rios, who outlines a historical and sociological overview of the themes of sexual orientation and gender identity from the perspective of Law.
