Book, Taste (Agamben)[LS]

Language: Brazilian Portuguese. Although he assumes that the category of taste belongs to the field of aesthetics, Agamben's aim in this essay is not to criticize aesthetics or the aesthetic dimension of the work of art. For him, it is about understanding taste as a privileged place, which would allow showing the fracture between truth and beauty, between knowledge and pleasure, which would characterize, in his view, Western metaphysics.
