Descrição
Editora Perspectiva launches the important work by Peter L. Rudnytsky, 'Freud and Oedipus', in the Studies collection. Starting from Freud's self-analysis and his interpretation of Sophocles' Oedipus the King, the author reapplies Psychoanalysis to its founder, under the gaze of the hermeneutic tradition of self-reflection. From this intersection, amplified by the analysis of Sophocles' tragedy in fundamental works of Western thought in the 19th centuries - with Schiller, Hölderlin, Kleist, Hegel and Nietzsche - and the beginning of the 20th - with Heidegger and Lévi-Strauss -, Rudnytsky seeks to reflect on the meaning of such investigation into the psychoanalytic truth of deconstructivism. This is a study that will enrich the bibliography of psychologists, philosophers, psychoanalysts and doctors concerned with the epistemological foundations of this area of knowledge that has profoundly marked modernity.
