Book, Fracta: poetic anthology[LS]
What we have in this anthology is essentially the poetry of an integrated world. If the main points of reference are the Brazilian rural environment, the city of São Paulo, New Haven and Mexico City, the poet's gaze covers ancient Greece, Golden Age Spain, Imperial China, Africa and advances through icebergs from the vast ocean, with a very peculiar epic touch. And just as his poetry transports itself through the macro world of the universe, the poetry/science relationship will allow him to foray into the micro world, hence the title 'Fracta' (tiny rebellious particles) given to the book is no coincidence. He seems to have been following, for a long time, the fascination of this relationship of activated and moving fragments, which resonate in a mosaic, correspondences and challenges to the laws of time/space. There also come together the sublime and the irreverent, recognition of connections and a kind of vertigo.
