This new edition of Volume 3 of Joint Physiology follows the same line as Volume 1: not only were all the diagrams redone in color, but new pages were also added, thus leading to a total reform of the text. Anatomical terms follow International Anatomical Terminology. Existing chapters have been enriched. Chapters were also included, such as the one dealing with the pelvis, with a functional description of the perineum in the physiological activities of urination, defecation, erection and childbirth; A new chapter on the head made it possible to describe the physiology of the temporomandibular joint, essential for nutrition and absent in other editions. All of this illustrated with new original drawings. In short, this sixth edition of Volume 3, like that of Volume 1 (and awaiting that of Volume 2), is indeed a new book, both for its presentation and its content, and therefore deserves renewed attention from readers interested in the biomechanics of the human body.
