Book, Happy New Year[LS]

Language: Brazilian Portuguese. Happy New Year, released in 1975, was banned from publication and circulation throughout the country a year later, and was collected by the Federal Police Department, under the allegation of containing 'material contrary to morals and good customs'. The authoritarian regime, which tried by force to cover up the problems that made up the country's dark face, could not stand the language of this collection of short stories that can fictionally translate the true exposed fracture of the social body.
