Book, Happiness is useless, A[LS]
Book, Happiness is useless, A[LS]
Descrição
THIS BOOK DOES NOT TEACH ANYONE HOW TO BE HAPPY. Nor to experience moments of happiness. I will also be in need of some formula to measure or simply diagnose my own or others' happiness. Yet throughout the pages, here and there, there can be some pleasure. A satisfaction arising from the grace of an idea, the relevance of some example. By saying that happiness is useless, I am not suggesting that it has no value. Let it be bad. That it's not worth pursuing or understanding what it's about. On the contrary. The useless can be good. Not being good for anything can indicate an invaluable treasure. The supreme good. Here you itch: – What do you mean? Where can the value be in something that is useless? If this question doesn't interest you, if what you expect from reading something with “happiness” in the title doesn't coincide with what this book promises, better put it back on the shelf. Now, if the idea of a useless thing being precious makes you uneasy, go to the checkout.
