The liberalization of customs, the loss of the father's authority and the precariousness of the modern economy took away his guidance and control. In this new essay, historian of psychoanalysis Elisabeth Roudinesco analyzes the origins of family disorder, the secret behind these problems and the future of this institution. "[Elisabeth Roudinesco] puts the family in perspective and questions it, without relating it to preconceived ideas. Catherine Argand, Lire "One can agree (...) or not.
