Book, Dictionary of contemporary theater performance[LS]

Language: Brazilian Portuguese. In the form of entries, the book brings together all the known contemporary movements and experiences linked to the art of staging and performance. The changes that have taken place in the contemporary world are observed with some naturalness, but the real challenge is to contextualize them and interpret their impacts in different fields. According to Pavis, one of the most expressive names in theater criticism, the nature of theater and its conception have undergone changes of such formal impact that we have difficulty naming it and are faced with uncertainty when studying it. The crisis in scenic identity is the real object of study of this new dictionary, which does not intend to outline concepts and theoretical notions, but rather to present the general situation of the performing arts and the so-called OPNI, Unidentified Performative Objects.
