Since the second edition of Breast Imaging, important advances have been made in the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, while the basic principles have become better established. Digital breast tomosynthesis is closer to the clinic, but mammographic interpretation has not undergone major changes. As in the first and second editions, Breast Imaging Diagnosis was written in the most scientific way possible.
