Language: Brazilian Portuguese. Decoloniality and Afrodiasporic thought constitutes an effort to build a horizontal dialogue between decolonial theorists, black feminists, anti-racist intellectuals/activists and black people. Adopting a broad notion of decoloniality, we recognize the decolonial positioning in the processes of resistance and re-existence of Brazilian, Caribbean, North American and African Afro-diasporic populations. Fundamental to such processes has been the body-geopolitical affirmation of these populations, from which other knowledge, new forms of existence and political projects have been developed. One of the aims of this book is to become an open platform for debate, inspiring and receiving contributions from the new generation of black students who are coloring Brazilian universities, which, until recently, were almost completely white.
