This book provides a comprehensive view of the subject based on the evolution of international treaties and conventions at the current stage of foreign legislation and the author's experience in their application. Examines, in a didactic and detailed way, the criminal reality that motivated the publication of Law nº 9,613, of 03/03/1998 (updated by Law nº 12,683/2012), describing the processes, according to their categories and stages, and the main techniques, mechanisms , use of companies and commercial and financial operations for money laundering by individuals or criminal organizations.
