As the title of the book indicates, we have in our hands an introduction to feminist thought that takes shape from historical retrievals of the various waves of the feminist struggle, their clashes, approaches and distances. Making references to the pop universe, from music to cinema, art and also popular uprisings and political resistance movements, Sam Bourcier updates feminist debates and uses them as a lens to decipher different cultural issues and nuances of our daily lives. It is worth noting that some of these references are closely linked to French culture, but several of them also land in Brazilian territory, whether via the web, radio, television and/or cyber signals.
