Book, Things and Angels by Rilke[LS]
Book, Things and Angels by Rilke[LS]
Descrição
Language: Brazilian Portuguese. In this new edition, Augusto de Campos expanded the translated poems to 130, having added seventy texts to the previous ones, always with an emphasis on Novos Poems (1907-1908), the least known work by Rainer Maria Rilke. It included some more poems from the Image Book, and still others, from Sonnets to Orpheus, which have to do with the poetic diction of those collections. Finally, he added other scattered poems that were little publicized. This volume deepens a new approach to Rilke's work, starting from the phase marked by the influence of Cézanne and Rodin. In the master-translator's remarkable transpositions, the Rilkean 'thing-poems' reveal to us a 'poetry of stone and soul where even the angels come to fruition. Texts that amaze and surprise us in the cohesive solidity of the images in which they compact the fluidity of human anxieties and uncertainties. Amalgamation of things and angels'.
