Periodontal Surgery – Pre-prosthetic, Aesthetic and Peri-implant, as the title suggests, covers all segments of periodontal surgeries, including those relating to peri-implant soft tissues. Initially developed for undergraduate courses, this work was enriched with more chapters and updated literature with each new edition, and can also be considered suitable for specialization students. This fourth edition contains important chapters on pre- and post-surgical clinical management, with emphasis on the decision to recommend implants or periodontal treatment. The sequence of chapters was planned so that the reader progressively understands each surgical technique, the complexity of which evolves naturally. The techniques are described in detail and illustrated by extensive photographic documentation and didactic drawings, totaling more than 2,300 images. This difference, added to the large number of clinical cases, allows learning and improvement for both general practitioners and specialists in related areas.
