Descrição
In 1983 Paulo Leminski released a book that would become a bestseller at the time and a classic for future generations. There were the main poems that the native of Curitiba had written until then, many unpublished and others published in independent editions or in the art and avant-garde magazine Invenção, headed by the brothers Augusto and Haroldo de Campos and by Décio Pignatari. The fathers of concrete poetry in Brazil had adopted that young, audacious and forceful illustrated poet. In the same year, critic Leyla Perrone-Moisés coined the famous epithet “trickster samurai”, recognizing in the author the pact between oriental precision and typically tropical flexibility. Including an unprecedented chronology, this much-celebrated work, which is part of All Poetry, returns in its separate form to the reader's hands.
