Book, Screaming against all oppression! LGBT, black activism[LS]
Descrição
This book is the result of an ethnography that deals with the relationships established over 20 years by an activist group, Aos Brados. From Campinas, a metropolis in the interior of São Paulo with more than 1 million inhabitants, the group operates at the intersection between LGBT, black, popular and peripheral movements. Screaming against all oppression! LGBT, black, popular and peripheral activism in relation situates the trajectory of the group and that of the actors with whom it relates in the face of national changes in the structure of opportunities and in the frameworks produced within the discursive fields of action that articulate different social movements . Furthermore, it analyzes the way in which such actors produce, in everyday politics, bets that activate certain repertoires of action.
