Descrição
It is, without a doubt, from an unusual angle, in terms of existing literature, that psychoanalyst Maria Pierrakos develops her critical statement, which is at the same time a kind of intellectual and personal outburst, about Lacan and his famous seminars. For twelve years, occupying the role of official stenotypist, the author was present at all classes, alongside the protagonist and in front of the 'Master's' faithful audience. In this condition, his role consisted only of transcribing the words and teachings given by the teacher from the height of his 'science', which naturally did not allow the annotator to express possible thoughts and opinions and, to the extent of his interest in the subject, brought some frustrations, let's say 'psychoanalytic'. Although he later managed to chart his own path in psychoanalysis and anthropology, Pierrakos offers us a unique reading of the seminars, using his past experience and his experience as a psychoanalyst. Thus, it points out, among other things, an authoritarian exercise of the guru-analyst condition, in the preaching of his ideas that renew Freudian science and knowledge, revealing themselves to a submissive and almost fanatical audience for the 'idol'. For all these reasons, the title of this work becomes suggestive, Lacan's 'Batedora', which, translated by Fabio and Eva Landa, is included in the Elos collection by the publisher Perspectiva.
