Book, Palpatory Anatomy and its Clinical Aspects 1/10[LS]
Descrição
This book is a fusion of the works Palpatory Anatomy: Trunk, Neck, Shoulder and Upper Limbs and Palpatory Anatomy: Pelvis and Lower Limbs, both by Lília Junqueira. This union of the two books responds to suggestions from teachers and readers, who consider it more practical to have the entire text gathered in a single volume. The author, with her vast clinical experience, provides in this edition all the information necessary to identify, recognize and palpate the anatomical elements of the musculoskeletal system of the human body. Palpatory anatomy and its clinical aspects also rescue the semiology of pain, the most subjective analysis of the signals, to obtain their precise location and their irradiation modalities. Furthermore, this work has an ethical dimension in its proposal, which is evident in at least three warnings. Firstly, avoid immediate solutions to simply eliminate pain and difficulties, and try to understand them and reconstruct your path. Second, recognize medical semiology as the inaugural step in patient examination. And, finally, based on the experience that each body is unique, the treatment must exhaust its own possibilities for intervention, within the dynamics and limits of each patient.
