Book, Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture 2/14[LS]

The second edition of Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture offers clear, detailed and accessible content of the main features of constitutional acupuncture based on the Five Elements – Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. The book deals with the context and history of this type of acupuncture, as well as the theories of Chinese medicine. After analyzing the Elements themselves and the functions of the organs, the book explores the basis of the diagnosis of Five Element acupuncture, the treatment indicated for each case and possible obstacles to treatment. Furthermore, the work applies this style of treatment to the context of other acupuncture treatments – especially Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as it is used today in the West.
